Some of these products are brand new, while others have simply had new shades or colours added to their lines. Here’s what I thought... More on the reverse.

If you watched The Jonathan Ross Show last night, you may recall seeing Wossy showcase (and by showcase, I mean taking the piss out of) a boxed/cask wine stroke cardboard handbag type thing. Since when was there a demand for such a bizarre invention? At first, I thought it was some sort of light-hearted gimmick – that was until I stumbled across the manufacturer’s website. Apparently, the “Bag-in-Bag wine” by Vernissage has won various awards, including “Most Innovative” at the Carton Awards 2010. When Vogue started this initiative in 2009, they said that they wanted to ‘celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy during the recession and put the fun back into shopping’. This has certainly been achieved. Tonight will only be the fourth FNO but it has already become one of the most iconic events in fashion. More on the reverse.

Over the last few months my interest in nail art has grown more and more, and thanks to WAH Nails, I now have a full on obsession. This cult nail salon was first started in Dalston by Sharmadean Reid in 2009. She says that she was inspired by the 'cool' nail bars in New York and LA where you could have your nails painted any way you wanted, and then always disappointed to come home to the boring and monotonous salons in London. So she decided to take matters into her own hands (get it?) and the rest is history! More on the reverse.
